The König Impact follows completely traces the design language of the König DR in terms of cross-section design, wire diameters and construction.
At the same time, the König Impact differs for the welded bar technology regarding the link configuration: additional to the ice-breakers present on the König DR, the König Impact features an additional square profile welded bar on the vertical links, resulting the most aggressive configuration available and the one with the most wear volume.
The König Impact is a supplementary grip device certified according to Ö-Norm V5119 thus fulfilling any winter equipment legal requirement.
The product is built following the traditional Professional snow chains construction, meaning that the chain is 100% manufactured in Steel, lacking of any plastic component, cable arch or anything else. Just superior quality steel and the most advanced treatments, plain and simple.
1 of 5The tensioning of the chain is given by the coupling of the tensioning lever and the tightening chain. Once reached the correct tensioning, the lever gets secured with a dedicated anti-return ring or shackle
2 of 5Welded side rings are the most heavy duty side connections for snow chains involved into demanding Professional activities. The rings are welded in place and, after that, the complete snow chain is subject to a case-hardening process which ensures that not only cross-sections are treated but also all the side elements, both on the internal and on the external side.
3 of 5The use of welded side rings allows the complete chain to be hardened, including side chains and tightening chains. This results in side elements which are harder compared to standard truck and offroad chains with bent side hooks and they are ready to stand the abuses of heavy duty working conditions.
4 of 5The tightening chain gets secured to the side chain through an elastic end composed by an heavy duty spring and a carabiner for the quickest mounting/demounting process
5 of 5The central closing hook ensures the cross-sections not leaving any no-chain area in order to reach superior performances, increased stability and a way better driving comfort.
1 of 5The horizontal links at the center of the cross-section present “over-links” with an higher thickness than the vertical links.
Wear bars are manufactured with the same thickness of chain links wire and they are welded on top of ice-breakers and vertical links.
The ice-breaker setup provides an increased number of touch-points between snow chain and ground, improving vehicle handling side handling.
Welded bars sensibly increase the available wear volume for the chain and they provide a more aggressive geometry against the ground.
2 of 5The cross-section design is generated starting from two single diamonds getting horizontally flanked and then put in sequence. This is most typical cross-section design for snow removal chains where the requested traction and resistance level is way higher compared to the typical offroad and truck snow chains cross-sections.
3 of 5According to the different tyre sizes, the snow chain gets manufactured with different wire diameters which are directly proportional to the tyre size.
The Impact is available in 5.50mm, 7.00mm, 8.00mm and 10.00mm.
4 of 5König snow removal chains featuring this technology are equipped with different wire profiles according to the position.
Meant to provide traction, the cross-sections are manufactured in D-Shape wire, offering a square angle on the outer side for stronger performances. At the same time, shoulder chains are manufactured in O-Shape (round profile), allowing the chain to move in dynamic conditions and avoiding links to get stuck on the same position thus subsequently offering a longer product lifetime.
5 of 5The use of welded side rings allows the complete chain to be hardened, including side chains. This results in side elements which are harder compared to standard truck and offroad chains with bent side hooks and they are ready to stand the abuses of heavy duty working conditions.
1 of 4The inner side chain features two or more shackles which are meant to adjust the lenght of the inner side chain, allowing a precise fit on different tyre sizes thanks to a wide adaptability.
2 of 4The inner hook is the connection point of the inner side of the chain.
3 of 4Welded side rings are the most heavy duty side connections for snow chains involved into demanding Professional activities. The rings are welded in place and, after that, the complete snow chain is subject to a case-hardening process which ensures that not only cross-sections are treated but also all the side elements, both on the internal and on the external side.
4 of 4The König Impact is the heavy duty snow chain suggested for snow removal services which are particularly demanding both in terms of needed traction and work intensity
The product carries all the features needed to perform and last on a wide variety of machinery such as heavy trucks, wheel loaders, tractors and skid steers.
To guarantee a proper application on such vehicle types, the König Impact is available with different wires (from 5.50mm up to 10.00mm)
