The König CB-12 snow chain is a supplementary grip device certified according to Ö-Norm V5117 and EN 16662-1 thus fulfilling any Winter Equipment legal requirement.
Once the snow chain is fitted on the wheel, the manual tensioning requires the driver to stop after a few dozen meters to retension the snow chains manually. The fixation of the chain after mounting and tensioning is provided by the elastic end red hook.
