The König Coach Master features a natural and intuitive fitting system as the chain comes already assembled and there are not kind of hooking/unhooking operations necessary for fitting.
The König Coach Master snow chain is a supplementary grip device certified according to Ö-Norm V5119 thus fulfilling any Winter Equipment legal requirement for heavy (above 3.5t of GVW) vehicles.
The locking device allows the tightening chain to pass through during the tensioning operations. Once the tensioning is reached, the user can fix the tightening chain in the lock position.
1 of 4The short-pitch tightening chain comes from the inner side and by pulling it, the user can properly tension the inner arch by working exclusively on the outer side of the wheel.
2 of 4Bent side hooks represent the most practical solution to connect hardened cross-section together with untreated side chains. Side hooks are bent with specific geometries starting from steel wire and they get pressed into position connecting the shoulder chain portion with the side chains.
3 of 4The cross-section design is generated starting from single diamonds in sequence. This is most typical cross-section design for offroad, truck and bus applications.
1 of 2Alternation of horizontal and vertical links: this is what the simple link configuration is about.
Vertical links are the ones working more versus the ground while horizontal links act mainly as conjunction between the vertical ones. The simple link technology is the most gentle versus the ground while generating a limited vibration level and being the lighest available.
2 of 2The rigid arch can be tensioned through its specific shortening system based on the tightening chain sliding through the rigid arch extremities.

2 of 4The inner arch is already shaped to follow the inner rim profile and doesn’t require any manual connection on the inner side of the wheel.
This represents the most comfortable fitting system on busses which are requested to conduct one or more fitting/removal during each driving shift.
3 of 4The arch extremities are covered with red plastic extrusions to improve visibility and easiness during mounting process.
