The König Cingoli are emergency devices meant to be installed in multiples on the truck wheels to provide additional traction when getting stuck in the snow or mud.
Each König Cingoli is fixed on the wheel though a chain segment with gets connected with a forged hook and fastened through a bolt. The cross-section is a simple ladder design based on three segment. Each Cingoli pack contains 3 pieces, König suggests the use of 4-6 Cingoli per wheel to provide sufficient traction.
Being a completely modular system, the König Cingoli is NOT an approved supplementary grip device according to Ö-Norm V5119.
The steel plate lays flat against the sidewall and connects the cross-section chain segments and the sidewall chains.
1 of 6Bent side hooks represent the most practical solution to connect hardened cross-section together with untreated side chains. Side hooks are bent with specific geometries starting from steel wire and they get pressed into position connecting the shoulder chain portion with the side chains.
2 of 6Thanks to the special design, the rim bracket sits on the rim profile and gets connected and fastened to the treaded hook and secured through the fastening nut.
3 of 6The fastening nut secures the connection between rim bracket and treaded hook
4 of 6It connects the rim bracket with the tensioning chain and, thanks to the treaded portion, the tensioning can be adjusted by fastening the nut.
5 of 6It connects the inner sidewall chain and, after having passed through the rim air slits, with the outer treaded hook.
6 of 6Horizontal links alternated with vertical links: this is what the simple link configuration is about.
Vertical links are the ones more aggressive versus the ground while horizontal links act mainly as conjunction between the vertical ones.
The simple link technology is the most gentle versus the ground, it generates a limited vibration level and it’s the lighest available.
1 of 2The cross-section design is based on a 3-segment ladder with 7mm links.

3 of 3Emergency devices based on a modular installation system
Suggested for light usages and not ideal for driving due to lower vehicle maneuvrability
Being modular, the installation of the single segments is lighter compared to the installation of a full snow chain.
NOT approved according to the Ö-Norm V5119 standard
