Every two years, Bologna hosts EIMA, the international exhibition dedicated to agricultural and gardening machinery.
This year, the event will take place from 10 to 14 November 2026. König will be exhibiting in Hall 15, Stand A9, with its solutions for professional applications
König snow chains for the agricultural sector
In agricultural work, snow, ice and difficult terrain can make operating conditions even more challenging for tractors and other vehicles.
At EIMA, visitors will have the opportunity to take a closer look at some of König’s solutions developed for these applications and speak with our team to identify the most suitable snow chain based on the vehicle, tyres and operating conditions.
When a tractor is mainly used for snow removal, the König range includes specific solutions for working on icy and snow-covered surfaces and tackling even the most demanding winter maintenance operations. Solutions for these applications include:
- König Impact: double diamond chain featuring ice-breaking reinforcements and welded bars, designed for intensive winter maintenance operations.
- König DRS: triple diamond chain featuring ice breakers, developed for the most demanding snow removal operations and for tyres with extra-wide treads.
- König DR: one of the most widely used models for trucks and tractors equipped for snow removal, for example with snow ploughs, snow blowers and salt spreaders.
- König DR Light: similar to the König DR, it features a simpler link configuration without ice breakers, helping to reduce its weight.
For tractors used mainly for agricultural work, König offers specific solutions designed to meet the demands of working in the field. These include:
- König Supertractor: lighter than chains designed for snow removal, it features a double diamond cross section and is suitable for agricultural applications and non-intensive winter maintenance operations.
- König A-Tractor: an entry-level solution for agricultural tractors, featuring a double-track cross-section and ice breakers that increase the number of contact points with the ground.
