König CD-9

Comfortable manual tensioning snow chain for Passenger Cars

The König CD-9 is the classical manual tensioned snow chain with you do not expect. In fact, while most of the manual tensioning chains on the market follow a “me-too” approach with very basic funzionalities, the König CD-9 is a true whitefly in the segment.

The product comes with a complete list of features which are typically uncommon on manual tensioning snow chains: starting with the patented König Micro-Adjust, a full coverage cross-section design and the Wheel-Shield Level 2 protection system.

The König CD-9 snow chain is a supplementary grip device certified according to Ö-Norm V5117 and EN 16662-1 thus fulfilling any Winter Equipment legal requirement.

Once the snow chain is fitted on the wheel, the manual tensioning requires the driver to stop after a few dozen meters to retension the snow chains manually. The fixation of the chain after mounting and tensioning is provided by the elastic end red hook.

Nylon bumpers for Wheel-Shield Level 2

The König Wheel-Shield Level 2 offers an effective alloy wheel protection from the typical scratches of unprotected snow chains.

With the Wheel-Shield level 2 side hooks are covered by a specific set of nylon bumpers which detatch side elements from the rim profile.

Micro-adjustability

The micro-adjustability function on traditional fitting snow chains is represented by the König Micro-Adjust and locking devices paired together: the trigger of the locking device controls the sliding of the Micro-Adjust plastic cones and locks with approximately 8mm snaps.

The König Micro-Adjust technology provides an easy-to-handle and effective tensioning solution, 3 time more precise than the conventional tensioning chains.
