Když König vyvinul nový koncept sněhových řetězů Reflex, bylo jeho cílem poskytnout spotřebitelům nový produkt, který umožní nasazení sněhových řetězů jako hračku.
Pravděpodobně to není žádná velká novinka, protože se jedná spíše o stejný úkol pokaždé, když se designér sněhových řetězů dostane k rýsovacímu prknu, ale tentokrát König splnil a překonal i ta nejzářivější očekávání.

Outer rigid arch
The König Reflex is based on a double rigid arch design, one stays on the inner side of the wheel, the other on the outer side of the wheel. The outer rigid arch is composed by two inner cavities: in the first larger one there’s a rigid arch with shape of memory properties while the second thinner cavity is deputated to the sliding of the micro-cable to provide tensioning.

The Reflex Box is a micro-adjusted automatic tensioning powerhouse, integrated in the Reflex design from scratch.
In terms of functioning, the Reflex Box tensioning mechanism gets activated through a simple click on the red trigger activating the inner spring recalling the red micro-cable onto the inner drum.
Thanks to the double rigid arch, the micro-cable is free to slide through the outer arch, by-pass and inner arch. Thanks to this unique communicating system, the Reflex Box can tension the entire snow chain in all its parts.

As it’s understandable, a snow chain needs to be properly balanced to avoid resonance in dynamic conditions. Considering the weight of the Reflex Box, the counterweight ensures the chain remains properly balanced in dynamic conditions.

The by-pass is a composite band positioned over the tyre tread allowing the communication from the outer side of the wheel to the inner side and viceversa.
Thanks to the by-pass system, the micro-cable slides into the arches cavity and applies tension to the inner side of the chain when the Reflex Box trigger is engaged.

The Micro-Cable is a super-thin (2mm) yet tenacious carbon steel wire covered with a low-friction coating to allow a proper sliding. responsible of the chain tensioning.
Thanks to the special construction and treatment, the micro-cable slides through the arches and by-pass to allow the tensioning system functioning.
5 z 6Nylon bumpers for Wheel-Shield Level 1
The König Wheel-Shield Level 1 offers a full alloy wheel protection from the typical scratches of unprotected snow chains. All the components which might get in touch with the rim are manufactured in or covered by anti-scratch composite material.Additionally side hooks are covered by a specific set of nylon bumpers which detatch side elements from the rim profile. 6 z 6

Inner rigid arch
The inner rigid arch allows the fitting of the internal part of the chain like a breeze. In fact, the memory shape steel arch included in one of the cavities, the system allows stretch under load while returning to the original shape just after.
Thanks to this mechanical property, the chain can easily be mounted on the wheel.
As per the outer arch, the inner arch allows the internal sliding of the micro-cable proving a complete tensioning of the inner side of the chain.

The micro-cable is passing through the inner cavity ending up in the left upper extremity where a pressed bushing keeps the end of the micro-cable in place.

Sněhové řetězy připravené k použití
Konstrukce König Reflex je založena na dvojitém tuhém oblouku, který zajišťuje okamžité pochopení procesu montáže a zabraňuje jakémukoli druhu spojení mezi články háků, které je typické pro tradiční sněhové řetězy.
Systém kování Reflex je založen na tvarové paměti, která umožňuje roztažení při zátěži a zároveň návrat do původního tvaru.
Řetězy řady Reflex jsou z výroby připraveny k použití: uživatel je musí pouze natáhnout, nasadit na kolo a aktivovat napínání.
Automatický na druhou
Funkce automatického napínání sněhových řetězů Intuitive je založena na kruhové pružině, která je součástí systému Reflex Box, aktivuje se bočním spouštěčem a přivolává mikrokabel na vnitřní buben podobně jako naviják.
Automatické napínání sněhového řetězu Reflex je definováno jako automatické 2, protože není omezeno na napnutí řetězu při prvním otočení kola. Napínací systém je ve skutečnosti založen na úplné integraci systému Reflex Box a vnitřních a vnějších prvků sněhového řetězu (tuhých oblouků a jejich spojů).
Výsledkem je ovládání jedním kliknutím, které poskytuje špičkové napínací výkony.
Ochrana kol z lehkých slitin Wheel-Shield
Wheel-Shield Level 1 je druhou úrovní ochrany nabízenou společností König a představuje kombinaci designu, materiálu a dodatečné ochrany.
U výrobků s touto funkcí jsou totiž všechny části, které se dostávají do kontaktu s koly z lehkých slitin, vyrobeny z měkkých materiálů proti poškrábání. Ale to není všechno.
Sněhový řetěz se dodává se specifickými sadami nylonových nárazníků pro volitelné použití: podle montáže řetězu na konkrétní pneumatiku může uživatel jednoduše nainstalovat tyto nylonové nárazníky na vnější boční háky v případě, že boční prvky řetězu zakrývají profil ráfku, např. u nízkoprofilových sportovních pneumatik.

Taška je zabalena do elegantní hybridní měkké tašky vyrobené z RPET (recyklovaný plast) a je vybavena vnitřní kapsou pro uložení návodu k použití a kompletní sady výrobku včetně náhradních dílů.
Brašna obsahuje pár sněhových řetězů a montážní sadu včetně návodu k montáži, nylonových nárazníků pro boční háky, plastových rukavic a opravárenské sady.
